The 8th International Eumos Conference is moving closer! This outstanding event unites Europe‘s most senior logistics safety experts for an exchange of views about how to maximise logistics safety in Europe. You will have the unique opportunity to visit the Interporto di Trieste INT and to get an insight about its infrastructure dedicated to intermodal logistics positioned along the routes of the European Corridors Adriatic Baltic and Mediterranean. The Port is a strategic hub for connecting freight traffic between the markets of Central-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean basin.

Port authority welcomes EUMOS delegates
On the 24th of October we will live the experience of better understanding Intermodal Transport, its challenges and the importance of Safety in all its operations.
It is estimated that more than 17,000,000 containers circulate in the world and obviously these containers rotate several times a year. This monumental traffic begins and ends in Road and/or Rail Transport.

We are looking forward to two valuable days for Transport Safety and Networking among Professionals sharing a Vision on Science-Based Logistics Safety! The Conference will be held in English with the possibility of following a live transcription into other languages (e.g. Italian, German, French, Spanish, Dutch and others on demand).

Looking for accomodation at the conference venue?
The deadline for the Eumos hotel room slot at the Conference Hotel NH Trieste for a fixed price has unfortunately expired. However, the Conference Hotel should still have rooms available via direct booking at https://www.nh-hotels.com/en/hotel/nh-trieste. Alternatively, the venue is located in Central Trieste and there are many other options in the area.
Arriving at Venice Airport and looking for a transfer possibility to Trieste?
Please inform us if you are arriving at Venice Airport and you are looking for a transfer possibility to the Hotel NH Trieste. We will put in place a paid shuttle on 23 October around 13.00h and 18.00h at a minimum occupancy of 5 people. We will adapt the time according to the arrival times sent to our attention. Please let us know about your arrival time by sending us an e-mail to symposium@eumos.eu. A shuttle bus back to Venice Airport will leave from the Hotel NH Trieste on 25 October at 14.30h. The price for each transfer is of 60€/person, 120€ for a return trip.
