EUMOS Awards go to Wolfgang Neumann, Brendan Condon, Julia Botos and Martin Orthen

Eumos this year has awarded Wolfgang Neumann, Brendan Condon, Julia Botos and Martin Orthen for their outstanding commitment to logistics safety. Eumos at its regular International Conferences recognises professionals with the EUMOS Award for outstanding commitment and activities serving the full logistics safety community.

Wolfgang Neumann – Founding Member and first President of Eumos – was awarded for his life long dedication and achievements in logistics safety. He contributed to the creation of the discipline of cargo securing in Germany and then joined forces with other experts in Europe to create the European Safe Logistics Association.

Brendan Condon – Inspector of the Irish Traffic Police – rolled out a tight training programme for the Police and other professionals in logistics safety, making Ireland the country with so far most Eumos Qualified Experts for cargo securing and transport packaging.

Julia Botos – Eumos Expert Member – is a true ambassador for Eumos contributing constructively and tirelessly  to the development of the association and its safety initiatives. She represents Eumos in a number of German and international fora.

Martin Orthen – former Traffic Police in Germany and President of the KLSK (Königsberger Ladugssicherungskreis), is fully dedicated to improving cargo securing and collecting data which is shared on the non-profit association’s platform. Eumos congratulates to the EUMOS Laureats and encourages them to continue their efforts serving as role models for many others to follow in their footsteps seeking to maximise logistics safety in Europe.
